These works arise from a need for simplification and a search for aesthetic essence.

 After an in-depth study of pictorial techniques, first oil painting and then watercolors, the artist arrives at this formal and aesthetic synthesis where the essence of the pictorial gesture prevails in its greater purity and expressiveness.

 Most of the works recall a genre of symbolic painting that developed in China and was later refined in Japan with "The circle of illumination" called Enso.
